Why Was Faces of Silicon Valley Created?

I got inspiration from Brandon Stanton's project of "Humans of New York," and I decided to create my own, "Faces of Silicon Valley." I love to write, and usually I write poems and short stories. Funnily enough, at school, I enjoy researching for essays, and putting my thoughts into words. You can view my work on the Young Writer's Project, Poetic Power, and Medium. I've been awarded numerous recognitions in writing, my most recent one was at Scholastics Art & Writing Awards, where I won a Silver Key in Poetry. Writing is an escape from the world for me and I love jotting down my feelings and thoughts. Another thing I love is taking photos, I love taking photos of friends, families, and flowers. If I'm not taking pictures of my family, I'm investing my "photography skills," in taking close-ups of flowers. So when I saw Brandon Stanton's "Humans of New York," I loved both  components of photography and writing. So I decided to take my hand at local journalism!
